  • What type of ID is required to enter the Expo

    The NZ Hair & Beauty Expo is a TRADE-ONLY event. Attendees to the Expo will be required to show a business appropriate ID in-order to gain access to the event (business card, student ID, industry association card, payslip, copy of their qualification certificate are acceptable). The name on your ID and the name on your attendee pass must be the same.


  • Is there an ID or minimum age requirement to enter the event?

No-one under the age of 18 may purchase a pass unless they are currently studying/working within the industry e.g. completing their apprenticeship. A letter from your education provider will be required to gain access to the Expo.

  • What are the hours for the Hair & Beauty Expo

The Hair & Beauty Expo runs from 9am to 4pm both days.


  • What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event(s)?

    • Parking 

      The nearest car park building is Downtown Carpark located at 31 Customs Street West. There is also limited car parking available at Wynyard Quarter car park.

    • By Bus 

      The easiest way to get around Auckland. Just look for the red, green or amber buses. Check out the latest Auckland Transport Bus Timetable for more information.

  • What's the refund policy?

Attendees can receive refunds up to 14-days before your event start date. Refunds are processed by our ticketing agent LUP. No refunds will be issued within the 14-day period prior to the event commencing. Cash refunds are not available.

  • Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

    No. You can present your mobile phone displaying your order confirmation email at the venue entrance and your ticket barcode will be digitally scanned by our staff to permit admission.

    Alternatively, you can print your ticket (attached to your order confirmation email) and bring it with you to the Expo.

  • Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?

    Registration fees and/or tickets are non-transferable.


  • Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match my ID?
