Who we are: Nama Fiji is a premium plant-based skincare range that
is made with deeply hydrating wild Nama and other naturally derived ingredients. Nama, which means “sea grapes” is our powerhouse ingredient that provides intercellular and intracellular hydration, with naturally occurring trace minerals and antioxidants for the skin.
Nama grows on the ocean floor in the blue lagoon waters of the Yasawa Island region in Fiji. It is known as the “longevity seaweed” because of its high concentration of essential minerals and vitamins.
What we do: Using local plant-based ingredients, Nama Fiji created a skincare range free of synthetic fragrances, parabens, and animal cruelty-free. Our mission is to be environmentally friendly offering recyclable packaging creating a better future for our earth. Our philosophy has always been to provide the simplest formulas made with ingredients in their most natural state to help achieve healthy skin. Hydration in particular is the cornerstone of healthy skin.
Our Mission: the sustainable Nama harvesting program was designed to create opportunities for women of the Yasawa Islands. It generates a new income source to complement that of the traditional village system and safeguard an important natural resource in the pristine environment. We are focused on improving the livelihood of Fijian rural women & and communities through training, employment and Nama harvesting in the Fijian villages of Yasawa Islands. To us environmental & and social responsibility isn't just a mission. It permeates every facet of what we do
